- Bring your own sewing machine, in good working order, and know how to operate it, to classes that require one.
- Most quilting and sewing classes require basic supplies and equipment such as a rotary cutter, mat, ruler, scissors, pins, thread, etc.

Beginning Quiltmaking with Rebecca
Learn every step of the quilt-making process in this class designed for beginning sewists. The class project is an alternating 4-patch and plain block quilt with two borders and the pattern is included in the class fee. You will learn fabric selection, cutting, piecing, pressing, borders, basting, quilting, trimming, and binding. After taking this class you'll be ready to make any number of quilt projects. In this class, you will learn to create flying geese using 3 different methods: stitch & flip, traditional, and no-waste (4-At-A-Time). We will make flying geese in two different sizes 2" x 4" (2" x 4" unfinished) and 4" x 8" (4" x 8"unfinished) which can be used to make a mini quilt.

Jolee Sew Along LIVE
Join us in person for this fun event presented by GE Designs. Registration includes the exclusive Jolee pattern, space in our classroom to Sew Along in real time as Gudrun of GE Designs will go live 4 times during the event and we will air them on our big screen in the classroom. Our classroom will be hosted by certified Stripology Master, Laura who will be there for hands on help when needed. Join Laura, our certified Stripology instructor, to learn how to use Stripology rulers to accurately and efficiently cut fabric into strips, squares, and rectangles as well as master cutting 1/4” and 1/8” increments.
