- Assorted scraps, size range is 2" wide by 2"-4" long
- Neutral thread to blend with the natural color of the rope
- Sewing machine with zig zag stitch capability
- Presser foot that can be used with a wide zig zag stitch
- Universal or Denim sewing machine needles, size 90/14
