Bag of the Month with Sew Hungry Hippie - Bliss Yoga Bag

Supply List for July : Bliss Yoga Bag (pattern purchase required)

Fabrics, Interfacing & Hardware
  • 1.5 yards exterior fabric (quilting cotton, duck cloth, canvas, linen, cork, vinyl)
  • 1 yard lining fabric (quilting cotton)
  • 1/2 yard contrast fabric for pockets
  • 2.5 yards Pellon SF101 woven interfacing 
  • 1 yard fusible fleece OR low loft batting 
  • 2 yards strapping/webbing (width of your choice)
  • 2 D rings, size to accommodate strap width
  • 1 adjustable buckle, size to accommodate strap width 
  • two 9" zippers for pockets
  • 28" zipper with 2 pulls (zippers by the yard work well)

Recommended supplies: walking foot, zipper foot, Chrome universal size 90/14 needle,  wonder clips.

Every class will require:
  • Sewing machine in good working order that you are experienced using and comfortable operating is required for each class. Also bring all machine accessories, presser feet and manual.
  • Basic sewing supplies; thread, seam ripper, scissors, pins, wonder clips, rotary cutter, mat & ruler
Fabrics, materials and pattern will vary every month. A supply list will be posted prior to each month's session.

I'm Natalie, aka the Hungry Hippie.
I wear flowers in my hair, obsess about recycling, and I am always eating cheese. I'm a former Army Nurse Corps Officer turned tree hugging, granola eating "hippie" as my 20 yr Vet Husband likes to call me. I create patterns for sewing and quilting projects that are modern and fresh, with the aim of helping everyone through - no matter your skill level.
Sew Hungry Hippie is all about sewing projects for the adventurous beginner or intermediate sewer. Nothing too intense. No focus on absolute perfection. (Gross.) JUST CREATE.
