Supply List

Fabric: As required on the pattern

• Patch the Pussycat pattern by Funky Friends Factory (required)
• Safety eyes, buttons, or embroidery floss
• Polyfil or cotton stuffing*
• Thread to match project
• Hand needle*
• Sewing machine in good working order
• Sewing machine foot: a narrow foot is best if you have one
• Straight pins
• Wonder clips (if you have them)
• Scissors
• Chopstick or similar tool for stuffing
• Seam ripper
• Fabric marking pen or pencil

*Not needed until second class

Pre-class work:

Roughly cut out all of the pattern pieces and glue them to thin cardboard (such as poster board or used cereal boxes). After gluing, cut out all of the pattern pieces. Then trace the pattern pieces onto the fabric. Be sure to note that some of the pieces are reversed. Keep the pattern pieces with the fabric pieces and bring it all to class. Bring any leftover fabric in case any are cut incorrectly. If you trace the pattern pieces with a Sharpie, be sure to cut inside the Sharpie line. It is important that the pieces are the exact size of the pattern and not oversized.
