Kim's Welcome to the Garden Challenge 2026 (8 FQ)

Each sealed brown box contains eight fat quarters curated by Kim Lapacek of Persimon Dreams. Each box contains an eclectic mix of prints but there is one fabric that is the same in every box. 

The challenge theme is “Welcome to the Garden” - interpret this however you'd like.  Use all eight fat quarters in a noticeable amount in your quilt. You may add up to TWO other fabrics (any quantity) to the front of your quilt. The back and binding are the maker's choice -  use whatever makes you happy. There is no size limitation and the project must fit the definition of quilted - meaning fabric sandwiching batting/wadding/interfacing, and stitched through to fasten the layers together. 

Guidelines:

Submit your challenge quilt photo to projectquilting@gmail.com by September 30, 2026 to be included in our online gallery and prize drawing.
Please include your email, phone, and a good quality photo or photos of your finished project. If you have an Instagram handle, include that as well.
There will be three randomly drawn prizes chosen from participants to the challenge!
